I don't think he's going to check the river after mini checkraisng the turn and if he is bluffing he will want to push you off your hand and do that he's pushing this river with or without the nuts.

Exactly. So if I shove on the turn I fold out all of his bluffs and get called by all of his strong hands. If he's shoving his entire range on the river, but only calling a shove with his big hands on the turn, then isn't it better to just call a river shove instead of shoving the turn myself? Does the ~18% of the time the river is a diamond really make that much of a difference if we expect him to shove regardless of the river card?
