I know this isn't going to make you feel better now, but hopefully you've now learned:
1. 250K really isn't all that much money, let alone 30K.
2. that it's very important to know the difference between giving money to friends and investing it.*
*You thought or hoped your friends were good players who would be responsible and help you win more money. Plus, they probably thought you were pretty cool sharing all your new-found wealth with them. They took your money for granted, which is human nature. Probably played at too high limits, played drunk, ran bad, etc., and didn't have to manage their roll because it was yours after all.
Not a great 100th post, but hope it makes sense. Be smarter next time.
