Don't let the length fool you, and this book itsn't as hard to understand as other great 'classics' (Crime and Punishment, Dubliners, etc.). It's a surprisingly readable, provocative, and deep story that reveals in complete clarity the various heights and depths of human emotion.

I've never met ANYONE who's read this book and did not consider it one of their all-time favorites </reading rainbow>

I was just about to say we should add Dubliners. I don't see it as 'hard to understand' though: what do you mean by that?
