blinds just jumped to 1500/3000 w antes 400. there are 27 players left and the average stack is almost 60k next jump in prize$ is at 18. he's with 21k chips giving an M of around 2.5. Dealt AJo on the button.
MP player with 55k in front of him raises to 10k.
read on opp is one of the looser players on the table, raising 1 to 3 hands per orbit for the last hour or so. However he feels as though opp has a better hand this time, considering those other raises came at opportune times (blind stealing, etc.)
He put his range around 66+ KQ+ AT+ A8s+. I argued he can't really wait for a better spot, given the circumstances. Also, his equity against that range should be good enough for the chips he stands to gain. What are the thoughts on this?
