Default Re: Good hotel near the Commerce? Also, want to harass fellow 2+2\'ers

Any Commerce tips for a mid-limit (shorthanded) player, re the 20/40 and 40/80 games?

The Commerce denizens absolutely hate short handed play. Esp at $20-40, expect your table to break shortly if it gets 6 handed. Usually one or two more will walk, and the remainder will refuse to play.

And where the best place is to get breakfast/lunch/dinner (not even sure I have a lot of choices there, but in case I do . . . )

At $20-40 and up, you can order food for free. Be prepared to tip $5 or otherwise have the food server stare at you like you killed their first born.

Otherwise, there is a deli, a snack bar, a buffet, a small sushi place, and a nicer looking restaurant. I think you can get most of that stuff served to you at the table also. BTW, if you tip the floor and put in some hours, they probably let you eat for free at an empty table. I know the floormen there always offer to have me served while I am waiting for a game and also when I leave.
