He's about the least non-touchable guy that could be involved in a Kobe trade. He might turn out to be a league average 2guard, and maybe slightly above that. He's already 23. He's not some 18 year old raw talent who is destined to blossom physically.
So you'd be pissed if they threw in a 23 year old who plays the same position as Kobe and averaged 12 mpg last season? I'd be a lot more concerned with the lack of depth at the 1 or something.
