i do call for pair value at times but i felt it was way weak to do with a hand like TT when hes been stealing lots of limps, and has been aggressive post flop.

sounds like a perfect spot to call and call a couple bets postflop to me. once you 3-bet you're basically playing for set value or bluffing really.
