Absolute Poker Just Called Me, WTF?
I honestly am sorry if this has been discussed in the 45 threads that are spread across the site, but here it goes:
About 67 seconds ago, a guy calls me asking if I got a check from Absolute (which was actually from UB, but I guess they consider it Absolute, w/e).
He told me the date it was sent, and asked me if I had received it, and if everything was okey. He specifically asked when I got it about (I said like a week ago). This was the first time I withdrew from UB/Absolute via check. All previous withdraws were via Neteller, but they died for USA, so...
Anyway, Is this just a standard courtesy thing they do? Or was this somehow related to the scamming?
Should I have been like "no I never got the check [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]"
BTW the check was cashed right when I got it.
