Default Re: Looking for a particular Stud/general poker book...

as a spiritualist,, there are somethings to gain from this dream besides looking for a book with joe in it.

1. the stud path will take you up to a quality poker player faster then a hold them path, or omaha path.
this dream is telling you that it is the path that suites you the best.

2. after you studied stud to start crushing it,,
move on to razz

3. then move on to high low stud for razz will prepare you for your high low game.

then when you go to play regular games ,, you will never give a free card, understand the value of a good draw, and be so bored as there are no cards on their end to watch ,, you will begin to study them more closely then you could in regular stud/high low/razz

finally if you study this path really well,, you could become a bracelt winner down the line
as joe is a bracelet winner.

now for stud books
i have a few .

roy west 42 lessons
then Seven-Card Stud for Advanced Players
you could supplement it with
Winning 7-Card Stud: Transforming Home Poker Chumps into Casino Killers.
but that was for low limit..
and the two plus two book on 7 card stud is designe for medium stakes. plus there is a nice section on loose players i was reading last night.

then you want to go the other variations of stud.
full tilt tourament edition is the best book for learning razz.
plus it has some stud, in it.

then finally you want to get
High-Low-Split Poker, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha Eight-or-better for Advanced palyers
for the high low variations of stud.

and supersystem 2 to see todd brunson ideas on 7 card stud..
and then you can come full circle as the articles on omaha, high low omaha, limit and no limit hold them are good to start your basis on before getting others books.

by then you will be the stud master, possible bracelet winner in the future, all around poker player ,plus you could have made money playing stud .

and who knows perhaps joe will write a stud book in the years to come
