Of course you're the best judge since you were there, but are you sure about this?

One of the first things I noticed when I started reading this forum is how quick you guys are to extrapolate from very small data sets, specifically preflop raising/reraising frequency.

Most decent non-tilted players play very close to a fixed strategy preflop. They may think they are wiley and unpredictable because they sometimes reraise 98s and sometimes don't, but basically they play a given hand in a given preflop situation the same way like 90+% of the time.

So when a player you know to be fairly solid raises 3 times in a row, it's a lot more likely he actually just caught 3 raising hands than that he's "playing laggy" or "going crazy" or whatever. IMO.

Of course your opinion may have been 100% well-founded and correct... just making a general observation.
