Heard another brainstorm last night at the Borgata. In a 1/2 NL game, player to my immediate left either limped blind or min-raised blind from UTG. Although the Borgata doesn't allow live straddles, he did this "to take the pressure off" from having to act first before the flop.

What a pressure-cooker it is to figure out if you have a hand worthy of playing OOP after the flop. It's much better to commit yourself to doing so blind.
