I always amazed how two people can watch the same thing and have such different opinions. I looked at the reviews for TBL on IMDB. Depending on the person, it's either the greatest movie ever or a total piece of garbage.
Me, I like quirky movies with oddball characters. So, this film was right up my alley. Plus, John Goodman is an unbelievable character actor, IMO, one of the best ever.
