If you can handle bad beats (due to very loose aggressive players; rebuy tourneys can be very lucrative as the initial prize pool is often tripled due to the rebuys/add-ons. You should rebuy as soon as the tourney starts and be prepared to double rebuy at least once but sometimes up to 3-5 times if your bankroll can mange. (And almost always add-on at break).
Another big benefit of the rebuys is that you can accumulate enough chips that this can be played similar to a deep stack tourney after the rebuy period ends. It is not uncommon for players to have anywhere from t10k to t30k stacks at the break.
If your bankroll can handle $20 mtts, try playing $3-5 R/A’s for the experience.
