Agree-think they also have a free shuttle to the strip which runs frequently. coming back may be difficult after midnight but a cab ride can be used in that circumstance.

Just go to Harrah's and take their free shuttle to the Rio and take rio to orleans for 3 bucks plus tip
But yea Orleans is a great place for the money loved it there... they got bowling alley which is fun to blow off some steam and a nice poker room full of locals plus they got subway about 10 yards away from the PR so if u get the munchies then go for it... my first time to vegas I got the orleans for 6 nights with round trip flight for 450 PP
Orleans is your best off strip bet... don't stay downtown, the rooms inside are shittty and only place to really play poker is binions which is pretty scuzzy itself... Try the orleans you'll love it.
