Default Re: I apologize, but the fight will not happen.

All,

Please understand that I truly did everything I could to make sure this fight would happen. Nothing I posted was ever said in haste or anger (aside from the original drunk exchanges, but I knew what I was saying).

I was 100% willing to travel Dartmouth and complete the challenges. I also truly believed that Yves had no problem doing either and was very sure the challenges would happen. Apparently I was wrong and I really do apologize for making it seem like this fight was such a lock.

T God,

I assume our bet is off as we never set a date for the fight? Sorry bro, my intentions were solid.

Yves,

As I said in the irc chat, I will not rub this in your face or talk [censored] about it. But I am curious as to what you think should happen regarding the challenge? I mean, it's pretty clear that your word is [censored] (he offered me a different challenge originally, one with much better odds in my favor + plane ticket, which I accepted and he immediately reneged on), but shouldn't you be obligated to do SOMETHING here? You wagered $1k on each event at even odds and said you would pay for my airfare out there and now you're again saying it's stupid and you're not down for it. This is pretty weak.

Also, [censored] you for repeatedly bringing up the escrow [censored] so *I* wouldn't back out. [censored] you for pretending I was making asinine rules throughout this fiasco in an effort to lower the chances of the fight happening. Everything I suggested was to make the rules even for BOTH of us, not just me. So for you to repeatedly shift my stipulations into me somehow angle shooting the match is really [censored] weak.

Anyway, that's really all I have to say. Again, sorry guys.
