That is completely irrelevant. You still don't have anything to gain from consenting to giving up your rights, and everything to lose, whether the cop respects your constitutional rights or not. I just cannot understand that line of reasoning at all.
Do what the cops tell you to do, but DO NOT voluntarily do what they want you to do. Is that really so hard to understand? It won't do you any good to make the cops' job easier when you are being interrogated!
