The corollary to that is, of course, that the Red Sox have only won one world series since you were a little kid, and have won one in the last 89 years.

Which is to say, that not losing a world series since 1986 doesn't really have a lot of bearing on 2007.

I can't wait for the games to start going down, at any rate. It's time.
