Plenty of babies walk before 11 months. It's early, but it's not unusual. My sister-in-law walked at either 8 or 9 months (my wife is asleep, so I can't confirm the exact age).

I would say, though, that you are still probably the favorite in this bet.

EDIT: FWIW (not much, I know), my daughter will turn 1 year old on Saturday and she has just hit the beginning stages of walking. Not a true walk yet, but she is sometimes able to stand by herself for < 1 min and take a couple shuffles forward. So, you would have won the bet against me.
