i've experienced pretty much the exact same thing in the 100/200 there. every reraise after about the 5th bet i had to keep rechecking my cards to make sure i had the nuts, because there was no way the dude was raising without the nuts. he was LAG but he wasn't that stupid. he asked me if i wanted to go all in and i didn't really know what to do, i knew i had the nuts, but what if i didn't have the nuts? and can we even agree to go all in according to the rules? so i ignored his question and raised again and eventually he called after 11 or 12 bets.

it's such a weird feeling when you have the nuts and you know your opponent couldn't possibly be raising you wihtout the nuts. you know one of you has misread your hand. you have to remember though, you're smarter than the donkey you're playing against, so it's more likely that he's the one who misread his hand. you gotta keep reraising without giving away the fact that you have the nuts by checking your hand after every raise.

I dunno if it applies here, but it could be a cause. I put in three sessions at the same place(Commerce) this weekend and its the first time I've put three back to back sessions together in Los Angeles in a LONG time. So I really hadn't noticed the timing of other players all that much Anyway, each night, I saw some of the same players there in the same clothes as the previous night. Some had moved up from the $20-40 to the $40-80 and I assume its possible they move even higher. I hafta figure that after 24 or more hours of poker, people tend to lose it to some degree.
