The value of the thread is not in pointing out the banal (i.e., that talk show hosts say stupid things). It is the entertainment value of having folks bend over backwards to explain and excuse the stupidity of those talk show hosts that support their political point of view. Didn't hear the audio....but I would guess it was said a bit tongue in cheek. It's real easy to put words down on paper to take all inflection and context out of what was said. Also the source will raise the eyebrows of any objective eye.
