Your preflop tells you don't have a strong ace. If villain has AJ+, he know's that he's only behind A8s and 88.
If you wanna represent ace I suggest you check the flop and re-evaluate turn. It's definately a cheaper way.
Your line isn't very consistent IMO.
PS. I make sometimes artistic plays like this. Sometimes they're genius, but very often not. NL400 is beatable with ABC-basics. You don't have to reinvent poker to rake in huge profits.
