Lets not get into world affairs and history, but Japan is one of our most significant military and economic partners. After WWII they dissolved their standing army to set up a force that was strictly defensive. They have only deployed troops on foreign soil without a UN mandate once since WWII, to help the US in Iraq. In conclusion, it is ignorance like yours that is wrong with country.
