Play the 4/8. Full rake at FW is $4 per hand. At 2/4 that's 1BB/hand. People routinely buy-in for $50 at 2/4. Two of these buy-ins leave the table every hour due to rake.

I've never played 2/4, but you can see it will be difficult to beat due to rake. Also, yr win rate, if it exists, will fluctuate wildly due to the rake before it converges.

I played 4/8 for some time. In my experience, and limited sample size, I was winning around 7-8$/hr. I never had a downswing worse than 50BB = $400 (spread over multiple sessions). Based on this, I think $600 would be a suitable, although perhaps risky bankroll for this level (3-buy ins if $200).

If yr rate is lower or close to break-even I would advise a $1000-1200 roll for the level.
