Default Re: ($24) PF decision with AQs in BB

dunno a ton of players in the medium skill range will call because of elimiating the person however this is bad when not bubbling.

That being said vers is right if its a amart or good player hes got a monster trying to take your chips.

You need a read on these players.

if you had 1500 still i would say easy fold. however your right on the bubble area of chips where you need to push.

calling=bad here i think

fold>push>call

If I had 1500 there's no way in hell I would fold. I would at least call for 200 more chips.

In this example, I would push. The original raiser is desperate and could have ATC. AQs is way ahead of his range.

As for the flat call from BT? Well, the only hands you fear are AK, AA, KK and QQ, all of which most likely would have re-raised. I understand that you have some stats indicating that this player doesn't like to raise, but how reliable are these stats? Over how many hands? He's got a big stack and he knows the raiser could have ATC. Yeah, he could have a monster. He could also easily have a hand weaker than AQs.

With a decent stack (1500+) I could see just calling here and seeing a flop. But you're getting short and I think a push is best. You've got FE. If you get called by a lower PP you're getting decent overlay. If he's got a monster so be it, but most of the time he doesn't.

Then again, I'm a donkey.
