what site can i customize chips where i can have 25 cent, 1 dollar and 5 dollar chips only? I want to have a 50NL homegame.

I like the way u have it. How much does those 500 chips cost?

Well you need to decide how nice of a chip you want, and how much you're willing to spend. Chip prices will range from .04 to $1.50 each depending on the quality.

I paid an arm and a leg for mine cause I wanted nice ones.

I recommend you check out the chip reviews at homepokertourney.com, find some you like, and get samples before you make a decision to buy a whole set.

I am a regular at ChipTalk.net and I concur with Steve. The usual process is that guys first get some cheap plastic "Dice" chips for something like 5-20¢/chip and realize after a while that they would like something nicer. This is why he suggests getting samples 1st. There are many options for a 3 denomination set like you are suggesting. The first thing you need to do is figure out how nice a set of chips you want. This will be a balancing act between price and quality. The best two sites to discuss and learn about poker chips are the two that steve mentioned. www.homepokertourney.com and www.chiptalk.net My preference is www.chiptalk.net as I think the guys at CT are more knowledgeable but there is good info at both places and there is a fair amount of crossover from one to the other.

For samples, if you are looking for cheaper chips, say less than 50¢/chip these two places are well known: http://www.discountcasinogear.com/
http://www.5stardeal.com/
and if you are looking for something nicer, two other places have lots of samples available:
http://www.holdempokerchips.com/Default.asp
http://www.apachepokerchips.com/pokerchipsamples.html

Obviously there are many other places you can buy poker chips from, but the above mentioned ones are well known to those of us that obsess about poker chips.
