abreu is not under contract for 2008. They have a 15-16 mil dollar option on him.
How is torre underpaid coming off of a miserable managerial season when he still wouldve been the highest paid manager in baseball? If Clemes comes back next year (with anyone) do you think he should be paid as much as he was in 2007 despite his 2007 performance? Why should Torre be any different?
