Default Re: PP and FD agaisnt lagish

[ QUOTE ]
Villain is laggy pf with PFR: 26% after 100 ~hands. He plays aggro, but no that bad post-flop. After he 3-bets pf his range consists of many PP, broadway combos and aces (not the worst of them).

I would call the flop and maybe raise the turn for a free showdown. If he's not bad postflop, he'll likely see your play as a slowplayed strong hand and will not 3-bet bluff unless you're in big trouble. You'll also get added value out of hands with a high heart. There's a chance of ending up in a bit of a bind if he 3-bets you (because you don't know how good your [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] draw is), but I don't think it happens very often. I would probably call and donk-fold a flush, check-fold otherwise.

I don't like raising the flop because it puts you in the same sort of trouble if you're 3-bet, but now his 3-betting range is much larger and your edge (if it exists) is significantly smaller.
