If you don't have a ton of time, you should measure out and combine your dry ingredients the night before. Then, in the morning, you just have to crack your eggs and pour your milk/vanilla/whatever and whisk it together real quick.

That would be best, but it should hold overnight just fine if its in the fridge. Don't let it get near room temp though, either at your house or on the commute.
