This doesn't matter. Without the stake you would never have an opportunity to play the tournament in the first place. When you're staked you go into a tournament knowing the most you can win is x amount of dollars, x being whatever % is agreed upon before the tournament. It's not that hard.
Also, I'm pretty sure trying to keep the 100k after agreeing to a deal would probably turn out very unpleasant for you. That's alot of money to steal from someone and expect no repercussions.
