Following my Senior Year (I played baseball for four years in college, but somehow avoided dipping) I worked construction building houses. I started dipping then (Skoal). This kept up for about 4 months while I was in school working on my teaching credential (construction in the day, classes at night). Then I got a job teaching, and in the first classroom I was given, there was an anti-dipping poster of a young guy with a black and green hole between his lower lip and chin. I stopped immediately and have never again thrown in another hammer.
