Default Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job

I don't think that banning people is nessecarily the right response to people who disbelieve.

However, repeatedly disrupting this thread with rubbish is, in my view, a reason to be told to stop posting in it.

[ QUOTE ]
Hellooo there. Guess what! Most of your are affiliates and shills.

[/ QUOTE ]
No, this is wrong. I, for one, have never been employed by any poker site, am not employed by any poker site, and do not envisage being employed by any poker site in the future.

Two years ago, I referred a friend to PartyPoker and collected a $US25 (it may have been $50...I don't remember) bonus for referring him. Other than that, I've never received a cent for promoting/being an affiliate for any site.

[ QUOTE ]
I have done an internet search tonight typing the phrase "is online poker rigged? Guess what! Full of articles which try to convince the searchers that it is not rigged.

[/ QUOTE ]
Some people could take that to mean that there are many arguments against why online poker in general is rigged.

[ QUOTE ]
And in all forums the same story: One poor guy who complains that he keeps having unending bad beats on his very strong hands, something which has a very low probability of happening, and then a rain of posts trying to convince him he is mad just because he suspected riggin, but he lost because of his bad poker play,

[/ QUOTE ]
Generally, that is true - because generally, people lose at poker because they are bad poker players.

Anyone who is stubborn to the fact that they do not play well inherently proves that they do not play poker well. The lack of self-criticism is a very common trait in poor poker players.

[ QUOTE ]
that casinos do not risk their business to rigg the cards, etc etc And none of these poor complainers suspected these posters as being shills and affiliates. Well, to me is shouting obvious, change your tactics you Einsteins.

[/ QUOTE ]

...that's because most of the respondents are not "shills and affiliates".

[ QUOTE ]
One of these threads I found was in 2+2. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=7878195
I am sure there are some more in 2+2

[/ QUOTE ]
There are many threads/claims of online poker being rigged on 2p2.

This incident (Absolute Poker) is the second in the history of online poker to actually provide any proof. Consequently, it is taken seriously.

This is significantly different to your claims - which have no evidence and provide no proof.

[ QUOTE ]
I had a thread in casinomeister where I was the complainer, and the same thing there. In casinomeister many of them did not even try to hide well they are affiliates and had the affiliate link in their posts. They started removing them though, let me check.

[/ QUOTE ]

EVEN IF the people who disagreed with you are affiliates and shills, that doesn't make their arguments any less valid.

You have consistently made claims, and you have consistently provided no evidence. A pretty decent working definition of "idiot" is "someone who believes something with no reason to believe it."
