you gotta shove preflop with AK when you're out of position, no question about it. playing AK oop on the defensive vs a decent player is a nightmare. AK has enough equity against pretty much anything (except AA) to make shoving good. It doesn't need fold equity, it has enough value on its own... especialy if the guy is as loose as you say. I don't think it's ever a good idea to fold AK preflop unless some guy 5bet pushes you and ur deepstacked with 100bb to go or he's pretty tight. just my two cents.
