There is the mathematical concept of proof, which is clear and well defined.

Then there is the way proof is usually used. Something like ‘when the evidence is strong enough to convince whoever is assessing the level of proofness’. In other words entirely subjective usually dependant on feel rather than rational analysis.

You can attempt to quantify proof is some way, however whatever criteria you decide upon are still subjective.
