Default pot control?

this may not be the best example of a thin 'pot control' situation, but its a hand i played today so there you go.

i am looking for some feedback on the whole pot control issue. are there any good links?

anyways the hand:

villain is 45/9/3.5 over 175 hands.

is this guy so loose that this turn is an auto bet? what if he was 15/9.

i like value betting my one pair hands when i know i can fold to a check raise. could i do the same here or do i not have enough data?
