I probably just checkraise all-in and get it over with. The problem with this, though, is that Villain isn't too likely to call with a worse hand, other than a combo draw.
So I guess calling is an option, but I wouldn't count on Villain to keep betting with less than top pair. He might pay off a bet on the river after a turn check, though. But, of course, there's no guarantee of this, and there's also some chance he'll improve in the meantime.
I suppose calling with the plan of folding if Villain makes a substantial bet on the turn is an option, but this plan does have its risks. I mean, I've been running into more two- and three-barrelers lately than I used to, it seems. But this does improve the case for calling and then check-calling (or checkraising) on the turn.
