i would create a new email address and tell him you received his resume and were interested in an interview in hopes he has sent one out recently. then i would go downtown and lease an office space for the day of the interview. make company signs to hang around the office and have "Los Feliz Industries" stenciled on the door. if he's from out of town, tell him youll fly him here for the interview and have a limo take him to your office.
youll have to have hired an assistant just for this day and have him wait for you in the front room. then when he's finally brought to the back office for the meeting and he's good and nervous, say, "[censored] ME? NO [censored] YOU!!!"
or you could just let it go.
