Are you leveling? I actually relocated to Chickamauga, and while nice, a tad inconvenient.

However, you can "putter" out of Chattanooga and Bam! be in the Cherokee National Forest rafting the Ocoee. Or atop Lookout Mt. seeing 7 states and hanggliding off the brow. 2 hr drive gets you Nashville, Atlanta, and Gatlinburg.
