I kinda agree with this, but deep down, there's an everything is everything element if you take that idea the whole way, trying to pin point exactly when your life "began".
Also, consciousness hasn't been a part of your entire life and for all purposes, it is consciousness what most people want to keep. It's trying to wish an inconsistent and impermanent quality as pretty much an analogue to the soul.
