I don't understand why anyone would give the dealer any percentage of their win -- unless the dealer is also going to give you a percentage of their win. The BJ dealer is your opponent -- they work for the house. They cannot help you. Their job is is to smile and entertain you while taking your money. I've seen players tip the dealer while they're winning -- play for an evening, drop a couple thousand and walk out broke while the dealers have a couple hundred locked up. What sense does that make?
I wouldn't tip a BJ dealer any more than I would tip my opponent at a poker table.
Craps dealers I tip -- because they can help me.
