Nintendo is not keeping Wii's in short supply ... they could build enough factories so that there would be 40 million Wiis out by this Christmas ... but then they'd have all that extra overhead.
The Wii will probably be in shortage during Christmas, but I doubt that you'll be able to make more than $50. Just open it up and enjoy it when super mario galaxy and super smash melee come out.
