1. What are the top LHE books that you have read/studied?

[/ QUOTE ]

If I had to study poker on a desert island, the five books I would take with would be, HPFAP, SSHE, TOP, Middle Limit Holdem by Jim Brier, and Stox's book.

2. Do you recommend any training sites?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think reading and posting here is a good idea.

3. How much do you play online? Levels?

[/ QUOTE ]

I have a full time job, I am a pit manager in a casino. So I play part time about 20 hours a week. Maybe 3500-4000 hands a week online, and probably an average of about 4 hours a week live. I start looking for games at 5-10, and work out from there. The highest I have played is 15-30, and usually the lowest limit I play now, is 3-6. I think that finding the right makeup of a game is a lot more important than being a 5-10 player or a 10-20 player.

I would like to mix in more live play, because I think the games are immeasurably softer, but the overhead in getting to the cardroom, and waiting for tables makes it a lot easier to play online. I usually play one or two one to 2 hour sessions a day.

4. How do you adjust your play for shorter (6 or less) tables?

[/ QUOTE ]

I pretty much play like I would in late position in full ring games. The thing that I think is much more important, is playing against the particular player that you are involved with, in each hand. There are fewer players at your table, and I think shorthanded players adopt more extreme styles, and because of the nature of the game, those styles affect you more than they would at a FR game.

5. Can you offer any LHE tourney advice?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not really, but I have had some LHE tourney success, I pretty much just play my usual game, and try to pay attention to what adjustments my opponents are making.
