Am I the only one that had a big WFT?! bubble above my head when they read this sentence? In what way does a chk behind in position imply a set in any form of the game, let alone HU?

The board was pretty dry and this was the first time I had seen him check instead of cbet. Skipping a cbet on a such a weak board seems shady to me, especially from someone who hasn't shown any signs of passivity yet.
