Default Re: QQ in 3b pot checkup

[ QUOTE ]
i thought that any1 with knowledge of basic poker theory would know why, but here it goes- Any raise folds out all worse hands and better hands continue, plus by just calling we are very unconcerned with giving a "free" card because of the proximity of our PP to the top card on the board

Sorry, it's my first time playing.

I know the game has changed a bit over the last year+, but when I played these stakes, I rarely saw people value betting worse hands in 3-bet pot on this flop texture. Especially adding in where the first raise come from and the 3-bet.

I understand that turning QQ into a bluff isn't going to be profitable in many spots, but I think this is one of those spots.

So back to basic poker theory, how often do you expect JJ/TT to value bet the river? I don't think we can add much more to villians range based on his stats, the action, the board texture, and the size of his bets.

Your other option is to call the turn, as villian did, hoping there's no more action.
