That's why actually being a team helps out. Less likely to trade a kill for a kill.

Yeah, the kill for a kill race only happens on the lower levels where there is no team play. If you work in a team while the other guys are going solo, you'll slaughter them. Rarely will a single guy with a assault rifle kill anyone in a group of 2 or 3 before he's dead.
