That is how the table generally works. If the player is called they usuall just show one card and wait for the other player to confirm if they are good. Sometimes they wont show you the cards at all and just say what their had is.
I dont know what the problem is with just showing both cards. If someone has called my bet I will just turn my cards over and usually say what my hand is. I am not trying to angle shoot I am trying to make the game run more quickly. This is a timed rake game and waiting for the player to show both cards before you can confirm is going to slow the game down. Its bad enough sometimes getting them to show one card never mind two.
