Default How NOT to TILT?

Hi Guys,

I used to have a problem going on instant tilt, when losing a couple of BI's in a row (EVEN though I was up by more for the day).

I would like to hear about others who have/had the same problem.

What I do now is Multitabling 4 tables. As "variance" goes, some of these tables will earn me a good $, another will maybe lose a bit, and other get more or less even.

I decide when I have made "enough" or if I play good enough, and still make the right choices. The first time I can feel I begin like playing too lose, and feeling dull / ignorant i must stop.

I always keep in mind that im not supposed to win every pot im engaged in, which has helped me from keeping off bluffing situations where I knew I was behind.

Back in the days my BR was nothing like now, and that's probably why I went on instant tilt. I could have 500$ at my account. Play NL100 shortstack on a couple of tables. Go ahead 200+$ for the day. Stop.. Play again later, lose 100$ (still being up 100$ for the day) and then instant NL1000 with my BR and try to get lucky. Unfortunately this far from went well all times. Maybe after going busto enough times helps you keep more selfcontrol??

One of my best friends who has just started playing is going through the same thing right now, but I cant really help him by telling him my story and how dumb it is.

How do you guys manage / did you manage?
