I don't think so. I clicked the Favorite Topic! (toggle) under this thread and it was removed from my Favorites.
I mean: I open many tabs at once so I don't know just this topic is in my favorites. I need to know I have this topic in my Favorites.
I mean if I have it in my favorites then at the bottom should be something like "unFavorite".
Or simply 2 links ("Favorite" and "unFavorite").
If it's not possible what about changing the message. They both look the same and I barely read messages. So the "removed" message would be something like this:
"!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE REMOVED THIS TOPIC FROM FAVORITS !!!!!!!!!!!". No one reads it so the aesthetic won't hurt.

I think more people appreciate return to the thread. But I really don't care as I either hit CTRL-W or BACK button...
