When the dealer who was dealing the table at the time of the incident rotated to us, she said that she and others at the table stuck up for the choke-slammer because he was getting in the other guy's face, provoking him, being an a**hole... but to me, by letting the other guy stay - without at least a time-out or suspension or something - you send a very clear message to everyone else in the room that violence is tolerated and that you can't count on that poker room being a violence-free zone...
