Default Re: Caesars AC: Player assaults player and gets to stay

[ QUOTE ]
Must be something in the NJ air. At the Borgata last Friday, there was a commotion at a 2/5 NL table. I have no idea what started it, but one player got out of his seat, came over to another, and started to raise his fists and verbally threaten the other. The other players interceded, and the guy returned to his chair. However, the verbal threats continued, and he could be heard saying things like, "now you need to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life every time you walk through the parking lot to your car."

The Borgata floor staff is usually great at handling these things, but in this instance they did nothing. Neither player was asked to leave, ever. In fact, the aggressor continued the taunting after being warned, the floor was called again, and still nothing more than a warning was issued.

Did the dealer issue any warnings? Was it the dealer calling floor or the other players requesting the floor?

Plenty of 2/5 NL tables running on a weekend. Back one of the two off the table and put him at another one. Since 2/5NL is timed and not raked, if the other 8 at the table were sick of it, and floor was doing nothing, I wouldn't play or pay time until floor took care of it. Warnings are a one time thing. It defeats the purpose of a warning when you continue to keep issuing them instead of taking action.
