Calling preflop does suck. If you really think he's splashing around and you can get it 2 or 3-handed then reraise. But I'd advocate a fold. A "gear changer" range may be wide, but it is generally more narrow in middle position after three limpers come in.

Raise flop. The maxim is "Play more aggressively in large pots." Although some people take this too far, the board here looks ideal for a raise. You'd raise this flop with 99 or J-10, right? Same deal.
